What we do

The trickiest parts, the tightest tolerances.

Precision repairs, prototypes, and production runs, back when promised.

Precision TIG Welding

Thin materials, stainless, aluminum. Critical joints where integrity matters, with every bead placed exactly where it belongs.

Microscopic Laser Welding

A different machine and skill set from TIG: micro laser welds with filler as fine as a human hair, for repairs conventional torches can't reach. Available for the jobs that need it.

MIG Welding

Clean, efficient welds at production speed. We use MIG for heavy machinery parts, fabricated metal assemblies, and automotive components.

Custom Fabrication

Custom work built to your specifications and design requirements. Bring us an idea, we can make the parts and weld them.

Structural Welding

Fabrication and assembly of steel structures, frames, and supports.

Pipe Welding

Welding of pipe materials for construction and infrastructure projects.

Prototyping

Bringing ideas to life: prototypes and first articles for startups and inventors, from print or napkin sketch, with design consultation along the way. R&D parts we welded through revision after revision run in production today.

Batch Production

Small and large production runs, managed efficiently. Recurring batch runs on standing contract.

Quality Assurance & Safety

Quality control on every job: material inspection to industry standards, plus visual, x-ray, and ultrasonic weld testing as needed.

Questions

Things people ask us.

Can you weld aluminum?

Yes. We have well over a decade of experience welding aluminum, thin sections included.

Do you take on recurring production?

Yes. Recurring production is a core part of what we offer. Tell us about your project by submitting an RFQ or reaching out directly.

We're a machine shop with no welder in house. How does this work?

Email the drawings, ship the parts, and they come back welded on schedule. Machine shops use Vella as their welding department, from one-off jobs to steady repeat work. Send drawings to admin@vellawelding.com for a quote.

Can you get set up in our vendor system?

Yes, and we'd rather do it upfront. Send your new-vendor packet with the quote request and the paperwork comes back quickly, so the process never waits on onboarding.

Not sure if it's weldable?

Email a photo to admin@vellawelding.com. If the repair is not worth doing, we say so before you spend money on it.
